Warm Wags Bergamasco

A little more about the breed...
Bergamasco are Italian Alpine sheepdogs. They are used to this day to herd sheep and protect them, and the shepherd, from wolves. They have a long history in Italy (back to the days of the Romans, in fact) but were brought to North America and registered in the US in 1998. They are a medium sized dog. Bergamasco grow to be about 70lbs, and stand around 23" high on average.
Bergamasco are patient, tolerant, protective, have remarkable hearing, and an intelligent nature, making them a wonderful family dog. They are the only breed of dog whose coat is made of 3 types of hair, which at adulthood grows into their famous dreadlocks, called "flocks." People with allergies to dogs are rarely irritated by the coat of a Bergamasco.
Obtaining a Bergamasco puppy from a registered breeder can cost THOUSANDS of dollars. A lot of the fee is due to the cost of getting the dog to the US from Italy. I am a breeder in SE Idaho who has a "one and only" litter of Bergamasco.
This is the only litter that will be from double papered parents born in SE Idaho. After this, the parents will be retired. This is a once in a lifetime chance to get an amazing dog for your family. Contact us to reserve your baby today! There are only 3 males, and 4 females left in this litter! The demand for these dogs is VERY HIGH! Reserve your baby TODAY.
